New Bike Earners Volunteer to Help Make Madison a Great Place to Live!

A newly sponsored refugee from Haiti and a grandmother are grateful to earn a bike from Wheels for Winners.

Happy Earth Week! Your bike donations help Wheels for Winners Reduce CO2.

Wheels for Winners (W4W) cares about the environment!  In 2023 we refurbished and gave out 490 bikes resulting in a carbon footprint savings of 56,840kg CO2e.

Based on U.S. EPA calculations we saved the equivalent of:

  • 3.5 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles driven for a year off the road or

  • 145,372 miles driven by an average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle or

  • The carbon sequestered by 940 tree seedlings grown for 10 years!
