A local videographer has featured Wheels in a video highlighting the best of Madison
New Bikes Donated by Bike Forward
A cycling club, Bike Forward, donated 11 new Trek and Giant bikes to us. Over half the bikes were immediately put in the hands of kids who engaged with their communities by participating in and promoting neighborhood riding events sponsored by BikEquity. One recipient was a dedicated participant who had 7 rides under her belt. Here is a picture of these new bike owners at the bike store collecting their new rides.
Good fortune to have a new corps of volunteers
The last few months we have taken on a new group of volunteer mechanics. Torben Harrison, a new mechanic of our Wednesday shift, holds up the first bike he refurbished.
