At times Wheels for Winners has a surplus of bikes in our little shop. Luckily, we recently had the opportunity to partner with Working Bikes, a non-profit in Chicago that provides bikes to global organizations in need of bikes. This load was on its way to Botswana as part of a larger shipment of 400 bikes.
Thank you to all who supported us through the Big Share fundraiser! We exceeded all expectations this year, raising $6,215 dollars. With your help we matched a $2,000 challenge grant from Budget Bicycle in addition to a $650 challenge grant from our board members.
Thanks to all of you who have donated to our Big Share fundraiser we have already earned Budget Bike’s first $1,000 match and they have agreed to offer another $1,000 in match! Tomorrow is the big day so please make your donations (click here) if you have not already. Thank you to Budget Bikes for your continued support!
