Have an old bike that you don't use anymore? Donate – Recycle your bike for others to use.
We fix and redistribute all sizes and makes. All donations are deeply appreciated!
We clean, repair, and rebuild your donated bike and give it free to youth and adults in under-served communities throughout Dane County.
We fix and gave away an average of 400 bikes annually to youth and adults. Working with other partners, we redistribute another 300 bikes annually.
Each bike comes with a free, brand new bike helmet and lock.
We depend 100% on bicycles donated by you. Since our mechanics overhaul all bikes before youth receive them, their current state is not important. Bikes we cannot use are broken down for spare parts and the remaining metal is recycled.
We currently do not accept electric bikes as we are not equipped to refurbish them.
Donated Bikes: Create Empowerment And A Brighter Future
At Wheels for Winners, we are dedicated to making bicycling accessible to everyone.
Your contribution directly helps provide under-served youth and adults with bicycles, enabling them to explore their communities, engage in physical activity, get to work and gain the freedom that comes with independent mobility.
Bike recipients give back to our community.
As an Earn-a-Bike program, Wheels for Winners asks bike recipients or a family member to give back to our community by doing 15 hours of community service.
