Wheels' Bike Angels Hold Last Free Repair Event for 2025...

at Sandburg Elementary School on Nov. 4. A parent called us “Bike Angels.” Thanks - We like that!

Wheels had a record breaking Free Bike Repair Events season. 43 Events in 2025 versus 34 in 2024, a 27% increase. 643 bikes repaired in 2025 versus 568 in 2024, a 13% increase.

Thanks to our partners - community centers, Madison Parks, schools and libraries who made this great season possible! And to Alan Crossley, for all the Wheels’ organizing regarding bike repair events!

Our own Jamie Campbell receives Community Shares of Wisconsin November 2023 Backyard Hero Award!

He led the effort to install environmentally friendly lighting at the Wheels for Winners shop, helps maintain the inventory of donated bikes, and provides excellent support for bike repair and distribution events in the community.”
