To help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect the public and our dedicated volunteers, Wheels for Winners is closing its shop hours to the public starting Monday, March 16th. We will reopen when recommendations from the Department of Health Services indicate we should.
From all of us at Wheels for Winners — thank you for supporting this year’s Big Share fundraiser! Together we were able to raise over $12,000. A special shout out to Budget Bicycle Center for providing matching funds.
Fundraising for The Big Share 2020 has officially begun! Our goal is to raise $10k by Tuesday, March 3rd! Last year your generous donations helped us purchase a cargo bike (see photo below).
This year, we plan to use this beauty at many repair events all over Madison to fix up bikes. Money raised through this year’s Big Share fundraiser will help to cover the cost of attending 40 repair events, in addition to purchasing 200 helmets and 200 locks for kids in our community.
